University of Chicago- Visited Jean’s sister- Joanne. She made us miss Jean, but was so sweet and gave us a tour her school. Totally felt like I was in Harry Potter. Chicago is such a an innovative and cultured city, the exhibits were on point. Crystal Garden-Navy Pier New Year’s Eve— this sums up the night…a blurrr Chicago got the term “Windy City” not because it is weather, but because back in the day people used to play dirty politics and those folks were labeled “windy.” The city’s name is also derived from a Native American word “Checagou” View from John Hancock Observatory- 2nd Highest Building in Chicago
