Last week/end was pretty much fabulous. I had a really good work week (finally found my groove with my kids) and to top it all off- I got to spend some quality time with my good friends to celebrate one of my best friends birthdays. These mini & random road trips to SF always come at the perfect time. Even though we were there for only  1.5 days it was as if time was going “slow,” which was good because we got to do so many things- literally feel like I experienced SF like a tourist! Not to mention the foodie adventures, which was my ultimate highlight + the Union Square Christmas Tree :) Limon Rotisserie(Mission District, South Van Ness)- Peruvian restaurant that slowly roasts their chicken, absolutely mouth watering and savory. If you know me, I love a good meal for a reasonable price and this place is it. The restaurant has a modern/chic feel to it too, totally love the vibe. Humphrey Stolcombe (24th & Harrison): I am totally a Bi-rite ice cream fan. However, this place has pretty unique blended flavors that is really rich. I had the Breakfast blend which was bourbon and cornflakes. hmmmm! O’Maileys (Union Square- O’ffarel)- this is definitely a tourist spot with a family and older crowd vibe, but still chill. Workers were friendly and we decided to stop by for a quick drink to try Irish coffee(something my firends and I never had, but wanted to try) It was basically whiskey and coffee mixed together. The after taste was a little bitter, but it the end totally warmed us up, so I ain’t complaining. It’s an acquired tasted. Tselogs (Daly City)- must I say more. Good filipino food, cheap price! Chloe’s (Dolores & Clippard) I went here with my friend Crystal & Kristina for early breakfast. Dolores Park is probably one of my favorite areas in SF and this little restaurant is a hidden treasure. They have specialty omeletes and good breakfast foods. It’s family owned and a total local spot. loved it!  This weekend was definitely full of everything that makes me happier and excited. Only down-fall is that I don’t get to see everyone that I want to see and catch up with b/c my trips are short, booo. But on a positive note.I feel so blessed to be part of a dynamic & tight-knit group of friends from college who are completely down for each other. Oh San Francisco, you get me every time :) I love you <3
